Privacy policy

The XLibrary app

XLibrary has no user accounts of its own. To search for games, show game details and covers and check for new versions, the app contacts the XLibrary catalog server.

• Sent to the catalog server: the text you search for, the catalog IDs of games in your library, an anonymous installation key and the app build number.
• Never sent: your library contents, file paths, account credentials and browsing history.
• Stored on the server: the public installation key, when it was created and when it last made a request. Search texts and the games you ask about are not stored.
• Every exchange with the catalog server is listed in the app under Settings → Privacy, stays on your computer and can be exported.

Sign-ins and backups

• Passwords for sites you connect, such as RPDL, are kept in your operating system keychain.
• Signing in with Google is optional and only used for cloud sync and Google Drive backup. Backups and sync data on Google Drive are encrypted.

Third-party sites and file hosts

Games are downloaded directly from the hosts and sites you use, such as Pixeldrain, MEGA, MediaFire, BuzzHeavier, RPDL, itch.io or Steam, and through JDownloader or your browser. Those services handle your data under their own policies. XLibrary never serves game files.

This website

This website sets no cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or fingerprinting, to count page views, referrers, countries and Core Web Vitals.

Your language choice for the language hint may be remembered in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

Age

Some of the sites XLibrary works with host games intended for adults. You must be 18 or older to use content from those sites.

Questions and changes

Ask privacy questions on Discord. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
